Fruit fly research could benefit humans

Erica Heinrich, an undergraduate molecular bioscience/biotechnology major in the School of Life Sciences, works as a researcher in the laboratory of Jon F. Harrison, figuring out if oxygen-deprivation levels in fruit flies can possibly create solutions for human developmental issues.
