Bacteria offers solution for fuel production

Biodesign researcher Xinyao Liu discusses their process for using cyano bacteria to produce biofuel. Cyano bacteria is a type of photosynthetic bacteria that can utilize sunlight and convert carbon dioxide and water into food. The fats in the food can be extracted and converted into fuel, like diesel and gas.
