A look inside the Deer Valley Rock Art Center

Posted: Mar 02, 2010 | 1 min 11 sec

The Deer Valley Rock Art Center is more than just a museum. Located just two miles west of the I-17 freeway, the center is nestled into the foot of the Hedgpeth Hills and is home to more than 1,500 Native American petroglyphs made between 800 and 5,000 years ago.

The center, which is celebrating its 15th anniversary, is a community gem. It hosts school and architecture tours; is available for weddings and corporate events; and offers lectures, summer camps and exhibits.
