Posted: Oct 15, 2009 | 3 min 13 sec

Faculty and graduate students at the Herberger Institute have developed SMALLab, a mixed-reality environment for K-12 embodied and mediated learning. Within the space, students interact with each other in real time using visual, textual and sonic media through full-body 3-D movements. A SMALLab was recently installed at Phoenix Country Day School.
