Pendergraph, Devils look to get back to winning ways

ASU senior forward Jeff Pendergraph says the Sun Devils need to stop worrying and get back to playing hard if they hope to get back on the winning track.

The Devils lost two home games last week and are headed out on the Pac-10 road against the Oregon schools. ASU will play at Oregon Feb. 5 and then Oregon State Feb. 7.

Pendergraph addressed the upcoming games at his weekly session with the local media.

Pendergraph is shooting 59-of-86 (.686) from the field in Pac-10 games and is averaging 13 rebounds in his past three games after a 21-point, 15-rebound performance against Washington's huge front line on Saturday. Pendergraph, who earned his B.S. in Economics in December in just three and a half years and has 106 career starts (third best in ASU history), is shooting .758 from the free throw line in his career (307-of-405) and is 54-of-71 (.761) on the year.
