Nobel Prize winner Leland “Lee” H. Hartwell lectures on cancer research at Beyond: Center for Fundamental Concepts in Science. Hartwell is the co-director of the Center for Sustainable Health at ASU’s Biodesign Institute. He is the first Nobel Prize recipient in physiology or medicine to serve a faculty appointment at an Arizona university.
