ASU's Jacquelyn Johnson, a six-time NCAA champion in the multi-events, is the overall leader in the women's heptathlon, after the first day of action at the Jim Click Combined Events being held at Roy P. Drachman Stadium in Tucson, Ariz.

No. 1 softball hits road to face Oregon schools

The top-ranked Sun Devil Softball (39-2, 3-0 Pac-10) squad will hit the road for only the fourth time this weekend as they head to Oregon to continue their 2008 Pac-10 schedule against the University of Oregon Ducks and the Oregon State Beavers.

ASU water polo travels to Gauchos for MPSF contest

Following a four-game sweep at its own tournament, the No. 7 Arizona State University water polo team will return to the road this weekend for a single game as the Sun Devils (17-9, 4-4 MPSF) will travel to face No. 17 UC Santa Barbara (4-14, 0-8 MPSF) in a noon MPSF game in Santa Barbara on Saturday.

Women's tennis hit road to face WA State and WA

The 12th-ranked Arizona State Women's Tennis Team (12-4) will hit the road this weekend, heading to Washington to take on the Cougars and Huskies of Washington State and Washington.

Two gym Devils earn Pac-10 All-Conference honors

Tiana Jean and Ashlee Hinkle of the Arizona State women's gymnastics team were named to the Pac-10 All-Conference team. Jean was named a First-Team all-around competitor, while fellow junior Hinkle earned First-Team balance beam honors.

Top ranked Arizona State defeated Wofford 12-4 Wednesday night at Winkles Field-Packard Stadium at Brock Ballpark to sweep the two-game series with the Terriers and improve to 27-1 on the season. The game was stopped after seven innings due to the travel curfew rule.
