Attend Barack Obama and American Democracy IV national conference

Posted: February 21, 2013

Barack Obama and American Democracy IV (BOAD) is a national conference that brings together scholars, activists, practitioners, and the community to discuss, debate, and analyze the Obama administration’s foreign policy agendas and contemporary America.

Over the course of the conference, the intellectual exchange, expert opinion and diverse perspectives will provide attendees with a rare and instructive opportunity to explore the meanings and implications of the "Age of Obama."

BOAD reflects Arizona State University’s commitment to engaging this historic presidency, and the ideals that helped catapult President Barack Obama into high office; and this symposium will stand alone as the signature event in Arizona which examines the demands of the Obama presidency.
