Lisa helps manage the ASU News site by editing, publishing and coordinating incoming content. She often serves as the go-to "tech support" person when users need help with the site. Lisa has worked for the ASU News team for 10 years – starting first as a student worker and continuing on full-time after she graduated college. She holds a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communications from ASU. An Arizona native, Lisa loves traveling, live music, food, art and nerding out with her friends and husband.
Emma’s somewhat compulsory devotion to the integrity of the written word serves her well as an assistant editor for ASU News, where she helps to make sure everything is “fit to print.” She originally hails from the Midwestern city of Omaha, Neb., but has happily called herself a Phoenician since 1999. Having fallen in love with language early on, Emma appropriately holds a bachelor’s in English, creative writing from Arizona State. Besides words, she also has a voracious appetite for music, movies, art, travel and late nights with close friends. She currently resides in Tempe where she also works as a copywriter for ASU marketing.
