R. Dwayne Betts, program director for the D.C. Creative Writing Workshop and author of the memoir “A Question of Freedom: A Memoir of Learning, Survival, and Coming of Age in Prison,” discussed his writing at ASU’s Piper Writers House as part of his visit to Arizona. He also spoke at the Sandra Day O'Conner College of Law about youth justice issues, participated in book signing and visited Adobe Mountain School, a juvenile correction facility in North Phoenix, as part of an outreach program coordinated by the Young Writers Program at ASU.
