Fourth annual ASU Pitchfork Awards recognize Sun Devil achievements

March 31, 2015

Sun Devil student achievements will be recognized at the fourth annual Arizona State University Pitchfork Awards on April 9. The signature recognition ceremony will take place at 8 p.m., at the historic Orpheum Theatre in downtown Phoenix.

Students, faculty and staff were encouraged to nominate Sun Devil students and registered organizations for outstanding accomplishments made during the 2014 calendar year.

A selection committee comprised of university-wide faculty and staff will recognize winners in categories such as: Emerging Student Leader, Best Recurring Program and the Changemaker Award for Social Change.

This year, a total of 280 nominations were submitted for the 22 award categories.

ASU Pitchfork Awards tickets are free and available on a first-come, first-serve basis for Sun Card holders and their guests. Tickets can be reserved online at eoss.asu.edu/pitchforkawards through April 8. Attendees are asked to dress to impress and take photos with Sparky on the maroon carpet. Doors open at 7 p.m.
