Participants needed for sleep study

March 23, 2015

Researchers at ASU’s College of Nursing and Health Innovation are looking at how the amount of sleep a person gets might affect them. This multi-site sleep study, funded by the National Institutes of Health, is being done in collaboration with the University of Arizona, the University of California-Los Angeles and New York University.

Participants must be between 60 and 80 years of age. They will be asked to fill out questionnaires and have physical exams, including blood draws on several occasions.

Participation is voluntary. It will take place over 14 weeks and will look at the possible effects of spending one fewer hour in bed or following a fixed bedtime and wake time.

Participants will receive compensation for completing the study.
