Students in grades 7-12 can participate this summer in an Arizona State University Summer Collegiate Experience at ASU's West campus.

The summer program offers students the opportunity to preview university life, learn how to prepare for college, explore career majors, conduct research on various topics, and visit the Sun Devil Fitness Complex and more.

Faculty members from ASU’s New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences, Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College and College of Nursing and Health Innovation have selected several learning communities for students to further study during the program, including psychology, microbiology, leadership, education and social justice.

Some of the courses that will be taught at the ASU West campus this summer (June/July) include:

• Psychology and the Effects of Music on the Brain

• Biology Meets CSI

* Social Justice: Discuss Race and Gender Issues

• Psychology Leadership

• Wellness and Healthy Lifestyles

• Explore Biology and Sustainability

• Law and Leadership Skills

The deadline to register for the ASU West Summer Collegiate Experience is May 30, and the cost ranges from $25 to $50.
