The top-ranked (MCLA poll) Sun Devil men’s lacrosse team (5-0) will play three home games at ASU’s West campus (4701 W. Thunderbird Road in Phoenix) on March 19, 22 and 25. More than 500 fans watched the team kick off its home season on Feb. 21 with a 12-5 victory over the University of Minnesota Duluth.

The team returns to its home field after hard-fought road wins at Chapman University, UNLV, Colorado State University and the University of Colorado (which had briefly replaced the Sun Devils atop the MCLA rankings).

“Our first game this season was an amazing experience for both the teams and spectators alike,” said Chad Morgan, director of Sun Devil Fitness and Student Activities and Conference Services. “We expect that upcoming games will only see larger crowds and more excitement as these student-athletes take the field at the West campus.”

Men’s lacrosse becomes the first Sun Devil sports club to make the West campus the site of its home games. All six spring 2014 home games will be played on a new competition field (located just off University Way South).

The remaining schedule of spring games is:

• March 19: Sonoma State, 7 p.m.
• March 22: Simon Fraser, 2 p.m.
• March 25: University of Illinois, 7 p.m.
• April 12: San Diego State, 1 p.m.
• April 19: Grand Canyon University, 1 p.m.
