Beginning this semester, the two intercampus shuttles – the Polytechnic and West/DPC routes – now bear the monikers of Gold route and Maroon route.

• The Polytechnic shuttle is now referred to as the Gold route.

• The West/DPC shuttle is now referred to as the Maroon route.

This change only affects the names of the shuttles, as the time schedules and stop locations remain the same. Passengers do not need to make any adjustments to their daily commute, only be aware that the shuttle names now match the university’s colors.

These new color-themed route names will assist passengers in better identifying the shuttles they board. Each bus will have window clings that correlate with the shuttle route name. New Gold route or Maroon route signage is currently being installed at each stop. Every campus will have at least one stop that has the full schedule posted.

The shift also came out of PTS' commitment to the university’s emphasis on school spirit and tradition, by using ASU’s official colors to represent that these shuttles are transporting Sun Devils.
