ASU honors veterans, active military with weeklong appreciation events

November 06, 2012

Arizona State University and the Pat Tillman Veterans Center proudly honor veterans and active military with a series of events occurring on all four campuses in celebration of Veterans Day.

The festivities begin with a letter writing campaign to support overseas troops and commence with a very special Salute to Service football game as the Sun Devils take on Washington State on Nov. 17 in Sun Devil Stadium.

To purchase game tickets, visit SunDevilTickets.com, select promotions and enter ASUVET. For ticket-related questions, please contact Aaron Mills.

In addition, flag displays will be placed at designated points as a visual remembrance of the sacrifice that many men and women have made for their country.

Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to attend these free events.
