Morrison Institute publishes border series by Goddard

An updated version of the three-part series How to Fix A Broken Border by Terry Goddard, former Arizona Attorney General, is available for download exclusively on ASU's Morrison Institute for Public Policy website.

The series originally was published by the Immigration Policy Center, a nonpartisan research and policy arm of the American Immigration Council. The series examines the effectiveness of traditional border enforcement methods, and recommends new approaches of using technology and intelligence as tools to a larger and innovative strategy to secure the border against human smuggling, illegal drugs and cartel violence.

Part two is scheduled to publish Sept. 26 on the Morrison Institute site, and part three is set to publish Oct. 10.

Goddard is a distinguished associate of the Morrison Institute and teaches a graduate course titled “The Art of Public Decision Making” at ASU's School of Public Affairs.
