Alumni Association announces 2012-2013 trips, May open house
The ASU Alumni Association recently announced travel itineraries for the rest of 2012, as well as 2013, in conjunction with a travel showcase set for May 10 and 11.
Through Sun Devil Destinations, members of the ASU Alumni Association can continue their pursuit of lifelong learning as they travel to unique and exotic locations with other Sun Devils. Jennifer Holsman Tetreault, executive director of operations for the Alumni Association, said the program features diverse offerings so alumni can select trips that best suit their interests.
“The ASU Alumni Association offers educationally focused travel experiences,” Tetreault said. “Whether you want to see new places by exploring through a land journey or a cruise, our travel program allows alumni and members to immerse themselves in the culture, history and cuisine of other countries throughout the globe. Our travelers have intellectually satisfying and socially rewarding experiences.”

Current Alumni Association members and others interested in participating in tours hosted by Sun Devil Destinations are invited to discover more about the trips at an open house event, scheduled for 5:30-7 p.m., May 10 and 7:30-9 a.m., May 11, at the Carson Ballroom in Old Main on ASU’s Tempe campus.
Tetreault said the open house would be the best place to research a trip with Sun Devil Destinations and hear from trip vendors, as well as from other alumni who have traveled with the association.
“It can be hard to make a decision about a travel experience from a single brochure, or website entry,” she said. “This event will allow alumni travelers to meet those organizing the tours, as well as hear from other alumni about the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of their next great travel adventure.”
