The ASU Research Laboratory at San Juan de Teotihuacán

Saburo Sugiyama, an associate research professor in ASU's School of Human Evolution and Social Change, conducts research on the Mesoamerican social histories, particularly of Teotihuacán, ancient urbanism, iconography and symbolism.

Here he tells us about the creation, history and important value that the ASU Research Laboratory in San Juan de Teotihuacán brings to the world's archaeological research community.
