Photography students assist on New York Times photo shoot

April 05, 2012

In a recent photography feature, by New York Times photographer Fred Conrad, Conrad says he called on his friend Penny Ann Dolin, a professor at ASU, for some assistance on a spring training baseball shoot.

Dolin happily obliged and selected three photography students to help him.

The students accompanied Conrad on the photo shoot and had the chance to experience professional photojournalism in action. The result of the collaboration was a behind-the-scenes look at Arizona's Cactus League spring training, which was featured on the New York Times website.
