Stephen Teglas received the Alumni Achievement Award at the Feb. 29 annual Founders' Day awards dinner.

Teglas is being honored for his visionary work with The Walt Disney Co. and his contributions to a pioneering partnership between the company and ASU.

Teglas and colleagues at Disney are working with ASU's InnovationSpace, a program in The Design School, part of the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts, to develop toys that will be of educational benefit to children with autism.

"Our involvement so far with InnovationSpace has been absolutely tremendous," Teglas says. "I can't tell you how impressed we are with the caliber of the students, the faculty and the body of work we're seeing."
