Back in Tempe, the men’s team hosted the Huskies, Jan. 26, with Washington coming away with a 60-54 win. Washington's Austin Seferian-Jenkins is called for the blocking foul as Jordan Bachynski attacks the basket. Bachynski dominated the boards, bringing in a career-high 13 rebounds. Carrick Felix (0) contributed 7 points and 4 rebounds for the Sun Devils. With six seconds remaining in the half, Chris Colvin (2) took the ball the length of the court against full court pressure and laid the ball up and in to give ASU a two-point halftime lead. Beate Jones, shown here on the beam, tied her career high in the floor exercises to help beat Arizona for the first time since 2006. The Sun Devils win not only set season records, but also career highs for many of the team members. ASU travels to Logan to meet Utah State, Feb. 3. The women’s basketball team continued their northwest swing to meet the Huskies in Seattle, Jan. 28, with the Devils winning their fifth straight game, 57-53.
