Photo highlights: Week in sports By Lisa Robbins | October 19, 2011 Fans file into the Harkins Theatre at Tempe Marketplace to watch the Sun Devils play the Oregon Ducks during the Sun Devil Club's first ever Away Game Viewing Party. All 250 seats were snapped up by ASU fans eager to view the game in high definition. The Devils squared off against the Ducks in front of a stadium record 60,055 fans in Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Ore, on a wet Saturday evening. Brock Osweiler threw for 291 yards and scored two touchdowns for the Sun Devils who have lost seven straight to the Ducks. It was Oregon's 20th straight victory at in the friendly confines of Autzen Stadium, as well as the Ducks' 15th straight win over a conference foe. A few faithful Sun Devil fans were on hand to cheer for ASU. The Devils dominated the first half but the Ducks dominated the second part of the game, winning 41- 27. The Devils have a bye week and return to Sun Devil Stadium on Oct. 29 with a 3:30 kickoff against the University of Colorado for homecoming. Devin Marshall (8) led the Sun Devils with two shots as the Arizona State women's soccer team put forth a determined effort, but in the end it was not enough, Oct. 14, as the top-ranked Stanford Cardinal defeated the Sun Devils 3-1. Alyssa Gilmore made five saves against the Cardinal in a nationally televised match. The Sun Devils return to action in southern California as they face USC, Oct. 21 and UCLA, Oct. 23.
