Krauss: Science and culture are connected

Posted: Mar 28, 2011 | 1 min 28 sec

One of the amazing things about events like the April 7-11 science and culture festival presented by the ASU Origins Project is that they capture the public’s imagination, says professor Lawrence Krauss, director of the project.

In this video, Krauss talks about how science and culture are connected. “Science, like culture, has the virtue to force us to reassess our place in the cosmos,” he says. “That’s what great art, music and literature do. It is also what science does and the ASU Origins Project connects them.”
