Arizona State kept its winning ways up with a 13-4 victory over the Delaware Blue Hens on Sunday in front of 2,188 people watching the Devils improve to six and one on the year.

The Sun Devils jumped out to an early lead in the bottom of the first after Johnny Ruettiger doubled to the left-center gap and scored on a Zach Wilson ground ball to second base. They would add more runs in the bottom third and the fifth to put the game out of reach.

Pitcher Alex Blackford, making his second star, went five innings allowing three runs and striking out five. He picked up the win, his first career victory.

Zach MacPhee went 2-2 with an RBI and Riccio Torrez added three RBI. DeMichele had two hits as well.

The Devils will head to Surprise next weekend opening the Coca-Cola Classic with Cal State Bakersfield on Thursday March 3. The game will begin 45 minutes after the Major League game concludes.
