The Seminoles (6-0), who closed out the game with a 10-0 run after the score was tied at 55-55 with 2:08 remaining, shot 57 percent from the field while the Sun Devils (3-2) shot 34 percent, including 10 percent from 3-point range (3-30).

Howard (9-11 FGs) and Bravard (9-12 FGs), who was named the tournament's MVP, combined to make 18 of their 23 shot attempts while the rest of the Seminoles were a collective 6-of-19 from the field.

Arizona State was in control for most of the game as the Sun Devils scored 26 points off the 20 turnovers they forced.

Janae Fulcher, who came into Saturday's game shooting 82 percent (9-11 FGs) in Arizona State's last two games, continued to hold the hot hand as she was 5-of-6 from the field in leading the Sun Devils with 13 points.

Fulcher's jumper with 15:28 remaining put the Sun Devils up 35-28, tying ASU's largest lead of the game.

Arizona State would remain on top until Howard's 3-pointer tied the game at 52-52 with 3:15 remaining. Howard would then put the Seminoles up 54-52 before Fulcher countered with a 3-point play to put the Sun Devils back up 55-54 with 2:24 left.

The first of two free throws by Christian Hunnicutt tied the game at 55-55 and then Bravard's rebound and layup off Hunnicutt's second attempt put Florida State up for good, 57-55 with 2:07 remaining.

The Sun Devils missed their final six shot attempts, four of which were from beyond the arc.

Dymond Simon, who scored 12 points for Arizona State, was named to All-Tournament Team.
