Bolden collects recognition following win at Washington

College Football Performance Awards

Junior cornerback Omar Bolden was named College Football Performance Awards Football Bowl Subdivision Honorable Mention Cornerback Performer of the Week.

Bolden intercepted the Huskies' final pass of the game to clinch the win for ASU and added three tackles, including two solo and a three-yard tackle for loss.

The purpose of the College Football Performance Awards is to provide the most scientifically rigorous distinction in college football. Recipients are selected based exclusively on objective scientific rankings and place emphasis on the extent to which individual players increase the overall effectiveness of their teams. The CFPA is also the sole group to honor national freshman performer of the year, kickoff returner, punt returner and kickoff specialist.
