Crow envisions world-class amateur athletic complex

September 27, 2010

ASU President Michael Crow's vision for a recently authorized athletic facilities district was the subject of a recent article in the Arizona Republic.

"Indianapolis without the winter," said Crow, in regard to an Arizona athletic district that he thinks could rival the city currently dubbed America's amateur sports capital. "We have everything in our favor: the climate, the transportation system, airport. What we need now is to get these facilities up to grade, and we have to start with the stadium."
