Eight/KAET-TV was honored by the 31st Annual Telly Awards in three categories: Documentary, Cultural and News/News Feature. The winning productions include:

Arizona Stories #303 - Silver Telly
A chronicle of the history of the Grand Canyon state.

Acknowledged as one of the greatest documentarians of all time, Ken Burns joins HORIZON host Ted Simons to talk about filmmaking and his most recent production, The National Parks.

The Silver Telly Council, the judging and oversight body, is comprised of top industry professionals who are past winners of a Silver Telly, the highest honor. The Telly Awards receive more than 13,000 entries annually from the finest ad agencies, production companies, TV stations, cable companies, interactive agencies and corporations in the world. It is a significant achievement to be selected for recognition.
