Statewide network to carry ASU football this fall

Posted: August 25, 2009

Arizona State University Football fans will be able to follow the Sun Devils this fall on a statewide network of radio stations, anchored by flagship "Sports 620 KTAR" in Phoenix, which boasts one of the strongest AM signals in Arizona.

"News/Talk 92.3 KTAR" will also carry Arizona State broadcasts in the Phoenix area when conflicts occur with programming on the KTAR-AM.

The 2009 list of Sun Devil ISP Sports Network affiliates includes 11 members with most affiliates returning from a year ago. KZUA-FM in Lakeside/Holbrook has been added since last season, providing a new ASU presence in that part of the state.

The network is entering its first year under the management of ISP Sports, the new multi-media rights holder for ASU Athletics. ISP produces radio networks for more than 40 major college athletic programs across the country, including Pacific-10 Conference members California, UCLA and Washington as well as Arizona State.
