FURI gives undergrads research experience

Posted: Jun 08, 2009 | 6 min 17 sec

Most aspiring engineers don’t get anywhere close to real research until they make it to graduate school. But in the Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering at Arizona State University, undergraduate engineering students have an opportunity to delve into research under the mentorship of some of most experienced researchers on ASU’s faculty.

Through the Fulton Undergraduate Research Initiative – known as FURI – up to 75 students each semester take on research projects in a wide range of science and engineering fields.
