February 18, 2009

Arizona State University’s College of Teacher Education and Leadership (CTEL) has launched a free electronic newsletter that will enhance communication with its community partners, educators, alumni and friends. The e-newsletter, CTEL Connections, was developed to provide the latest information about news, events, opportunities and educator resources in an easily accessible and interactive format.

“CTEL Connections will enhance ASU’s efforts to distribute news and information to those interested in new developments in Arizona’s teacher preparation,” said Mari Koerner, dean of the College of Teacher Education and Leadership. “The work of our alumni, faculty, students, and staff is essential to the quality of life in our community, and CTEL Connections will promote activities and programs that benefit educators and the vitality of our region.”

The e-newsletter will feature news and information about ASU’s College of Teacher Education and Leadership, upcoming events, updates from ASU’s West campus alumni, and articles about current students, faculty projects and educator resources.
