ASU Head Football Coach Dennis Erickson is expecting ASU to play even better, coming off a strong victory against Pac-10 foe Stanford.

ASU opened conference play Sept. 6 with a 41-17 win over Stanford in its Pac-10 opener. The Sun Devils will welcome its third straight opponent as it welcomes UNLV to Frank Kush Field/Sun Devil Stadium on Saturday night, Sept. 13. UNLV enters the contest 1-1 following a 42-21 loss at Utah in their Mountain West Conference opener.

At his weekly press conference, Erickson says ASU played well, but shows numerous signs that it can be better.

"I thought we played well at times," says Erickson. "We played pretty good offensively and were able to mix it up, and we talked about that. "
