Thousands of attendees came out to Tempe on April 13 to participate in the 20th annual Pat's Run — a 4.2-mile run/walk that honors the legacy of former NFL player, Sun Devil and Army Ranger Pat Tillman.

Sun Devil Athletics mourns the loss of Don 'Donze' Mullett

Don “Donze” Mullett has supported Arizona State University’s hockey program since its club days in 2000 when his youngest son, Chris, played for the team. In 2014, Mullett and his wife, Barbara, were instrumental in elevating Sun Devil Hockey to NCAA Division I status through their philanthropic support. On April 8, Mullett died peacefully surrounded by family, just two days before his 82nd birthday. The Mulletts’ family legacy with Sun Devil Athletics will live on, ensuring student-athletes access and success.

ASU's Cronkite News Phoenix Sports Bureau students gain valuable experience covering major events

Throughout the year, students enrolled in the Cronkite News Phoenix Sports Bureau provide daily coverage of the Valley’s five major professional sports teams. However, since February, they’ve made the jump to the national stage, reporting on some of the country’s largest sporting events, including Super Bowl week, the PGA Tour’s WM Phoenix Open and Major League Baseball’s Cactus League spring training.

ASU's Student Alumni Association, in collaboration with the ASU Alumni Association, is gearing up for the fourth annual Alissa Serignese Maroon and Gold Golf Classic, scheduled to take place on Tuesday, April 16, at Papago Golf Club.
