As the PGA's Canadian Opens begins today, there are nine Sun Devils teeing off in the 93-man field, including seven who played under current ASU head coach Randy Lein, who will enter his 17th season at ASU in 2008-2009.

Sports:  Whiting captures gold in shot put at NACAC Under 23 Championships

The 208 NACAC Under 23 Championship track and field meet came to a close Sunday, July 20 in Toluca, Mexico, with the lone member of the Arizona State University program competing on the day, Ryan Whiting, winning the shot put to five the Sun Devils their fourth gold medal of the meet.
