Sports:  Women's golf in 10th after day one of NCAA West Regional

The No. 4 Arizona State women's golf team shot an 8-over 296 on Thursday and is tied for 10th after the first round of the NCAA West Regional, being played Thursday-Saturday at the par 72, Lincoln Hills Golf Course.

Sports:  Mistakes cost softball extra innings loss to Stanford

An uncharacteristic night of mistakes and blown opportunities saw the No. 2 Sun Devil Softball team fall in a 2-1 10 inning battle to the eighth-ranked Stanford Cardinal Thursday night in Tempe at Farrington Stadium.

The 2008 Sun Devil Softball team added yet another accolade to their already storied 2008 season Thursday afternoon as they placed three roster members; Kaitlin Cochran, Jackie Vasquez and Jessica Mapes on the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District First Team.

Third ranked Arizona State waited out an hour rain delay on Wednesday night in Wichita then beat the #10 Wichita State Shockers 6-1 at Eck Stadium.

Sports:  Heptathlon, decathlon heat sheets released for Pac-10

The 2008 Pac-10 Conference Track & Field Championships presented by 76 Gasoline will get underway this Friday as the women's heptathlon and men's decathlon will open the action on Joe Selleh Track at Sun Angel Stadium in Tempe.

Sports:  Women's tennis head to Fresno for NCAA

The 21st-ranked Arizona State Women's Tennis Team (14-7, 5-4 Pac-10) will hit the road again this weekend to open the 2008 NCAA Tournament where they'll head to Fresno, Calif. to take on Sacramento State this Friday.

Sports:  Softball at home stretch, set on first Pac-10 title

The second-ranked Sun Devil Softball squad (54-4, 16-1 Pac-10) squad will close out their Pac-10 slate and regular season this weekend, settling in to the confines of their home at Farrington Stadium to take on eighth-ranked Stanford Cardinal (45-10, 10-8 Pac-10) and the 23rd-ranked Cal Golden Bears (40-21, 7-11 Pac-10).
