Media Advisory

Arizona State University is deeply saddened to report that a male graduate student apparently committed suicide at the Design South building on the Tempe campus this morning.

ASU is focusing on counseling services for those who may have known the student to help ease their pain at this difficult time, including students, faculty and staff.

All classes scheduled in Design South for today have been cancelled and the building will be closed for the remainder of the day. The building is scheduled to reopen tomorrow (Tuesday, Oct. 27) morning.
