Kittrie quoted in Sen. Kyl column

A recent column by U.S. Sen. Jon Kyl, (R-Ariz.), quoted Professor Orde Felix Kittrie, of the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law, on the potential for increasing U.S. leverage over Iran's nuclear program by peacefully cutting off the supply of gasoline to Iran. Kyl's Dec. 1 column was published in Arizona newspapers including the Eloy News and the Florence News, and was published on the Senator's website.

Kittrie has testified before both the U.S. House and U.S. Senate on nonproliferation issues this year and currently serves on a 12-member commission created by Congress to make recommendations on U.S. nonproliferation policy. Prior to joining the ASU law faculty, he served for 11 years at the State Department, including as a specialist on nuclear nonproliferation and sanctions issues.
